The Smoother delivers dramatic results. The following customer case shows the actual temperatures of the radiators in a two-story brick home.

The radiators in Yahphen Chang and John Manning’s home in north Toronto were not heating the house evenly. To keep the children’s playroom heated, Yahphen and John had to close off the radiator valve in their bedroom to get heat down into the basement playroom. When the bedroom valve was open, there was no heat in the playroom. They were forced to choose heating one room over another. Unevenly heated radiators such as these are a common problem in older homes heated with a boiler and hot-water radiators.

After the Smoother was installed, all radiator temperatures have converged closely. Bedroom 2 radiator is now receiving its share of hot water without stealing the heat from the basement. The Smoother is providing comfortable even heating throughout the house without having to run the circulator pump continuously.
